AMERICAN BLACK FILM FESTIVAL
The premier festival of its kind showcasing emerging artists and content made by and about people of African descent. Dedicated to the belief that diverse artists deserve the same opportunities as their mainstream counterparts, ABFF founder Jeff Friday conceived the festival in 1997 as a vehicle to strengthen the black entertainment community by fostering resource sharing, education and artistic collaboration.
1st ANNUAL
ABFF COMEDY FESTIVAL
Kicking off in 2021, ABFF Comedy Festival will be a fun-filled consumer event and talent discovery platform for emerging Black and Brown comedians and comedy writers. Its mission is to unite the multicultural comedy community in Hollywood and help propel new generations of diverse artists to stardom by introducing them to the industry at large.
4th ANNUAL
ABFF HONORS
A star-studded awards ceremony saluting excellence in the motion picture and television industry. The show celebrates Black culture by recognizing individuals who have made distinguished contributions to American entertainment through their work as well as those who champion inclusion in Hollywood.
2nd ANNUAL
ABFF LONDON FILM FESTIVAL
The European spin-off of the American Black Film Festival. Its mission is to promote the global appeal of Black film and encourage collaboration between content creators throughout the African diaspora.
